Omschrijving

The Bestevaer 45 ‘Lionne’ is a highly specified aluminium explorer yacht, built by KM Yachtbuilders and designed by Dykstra Naval Architects. Her centerboard keel and double aluminium rudders combine serious offshore capability with exceptional access to shallow cruising grounds. Lionne is equipped for demanding short-handed cruising with a carbon mast and carbon boom with rod rigging, Harken electric winches, Windpilot Pacific self-steering, Watt&Sea hydrogenerator, solar panels, lithium battery system, B&G navigation equipment with radar, bow thruster and Brunton Autoprop. Further upgrades include ice reinforcement at the bow, additional watertight bulkheads, thermopane pilothouse windows and Webasto heating, making her equally suited to extended offshore passages and cruising in higher latitudes. The photographs date from the yacht’s original build, and some details may have naturally evolved with use over the years. A remarkably capable and distinctive Bestevaer, offering the rare combination of performance, self-sufficiency, shallow-water freedom and Dutch aluminium craftsmanship.
