The Holterman 53 “Kariega” is a robust and seaworthy Dutch-built motor yacht, built in 2011 by Holterman Shipyard in Meppel to a design by Vripack. She combines solid construction, timeless lines and comfortable cruising characteristics with a warm and well-appointed interior. Her light oak interior offers a comfortable two-cabin layout. The spacious owner’s cabin is located aft and features an en-suite bathroom with toilet and separate shower. Forward is a guest cabin with two separate berths, while a separate day head is located amidships. Opposite the fully equipped galley is a generous U-shaped dinette, creating a comfortable and practical living space on board. “Kariega” is powered by two John Deere diesel engines of 200 hp each. Manoeuvring is made easy by hydraulic Vetus bow and stern thrusters, a docking joystick and RMC remote control. Hydraulic Vetus stabilisers provide additional comfort while cruising. The raised helm position offers excellent visibility and is complemented by an electrically operated sliding roof. The spacious aft cockpit provides comfortable seating and can be heated through the Kabola HR400 heating system, making the yacht suitable for comfortable cruising throughout the seasons. Her equipment includes Raymarine navigation electronics, a Mastervolt generator, JL Audio sound system, Miele washer-dryer and a Liebherr refrigerator with freezer compartment installed in 2025.
